Easter 2013: Top Moments, Photos, and Trends from the Year

mb 331

The Easter bunny stopped by this morning and we had a lovely, successful trip to church. Since there was no Sunday school, Carson managed a nice morning nap in the car. Later, Easter dinner is already in the crockpot and will be finished under the broiler in a few hours: honey-mustard drumsticks that smell absolutely delicious.

I love that the girls understand why Easter is so meaningful. Without prompting, Camryn realized that the empty egg she found symbolizes the empty tomb — a thoughtful connection far more meaningful than any trinket or candy-filled egg.

Our handsome little boy turns ten months old today. Yes, I dressed him in pink to match his sisters. You can even spot Camryn’s manicure color choices from our recent at-home mani session — nothing says Easter quite like blue and pink fingernails!

He is risen!
