Ingredients
- 15 oz box chocolate cake mix
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp water
Icing ingredients:
- ¼ cup softened butter
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir until the mixture is well blended. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll into balls, spacing them on the sheet. Bake for 9 minutes, then transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
-
Prepare the icing: in a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with the milk and cocoa powder, whisking frequently until smooth. Remove from heat and gradually stir in the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until you reach a thick, pourable glaze. Drizzle the icing over the warm cookies, allow to set, then serve.
