I love buffalo chicken! It’s hands down one of my favorite flavors. This summer I will be serving this amazing Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad at every get-together.
Easy Pasta Salad
Pasta salad is one of the best summer side dishes. This Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad is loaded with flavor and makes a perfect, crowd-pleasing side or light main. With tender shredded chicken, crisp vegetables, creamy blue cheese and a zesty buffalo-mayo dressing, it’s an instant favorite for potlucks, BBQs, and weeknight meals.
I’m a big buffalo chicken fan and love turning that classic flavor into a cool, satisfying pasta salad for warm weather entertaining.
How to make Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad
Step one: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water until cool; set aside.
- Tip: Rinsing the pasta with cold water prevents sticking and keeps the cheese from melting into the warm noodles.
Step two: In a large bowl combine the cooked and cooled pasta with cooked, shredded chicken, diced green onions, diced celery, shredded carrots and blue cheese crumbles.
Step three: In a separate bowl whisk together buffalo sauce, mayonnaise, onion powder and garlic powder. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
Step four: Chill the salad for at least 1 hour to meld flavors, or serve immediately if you prefer it warm.

Ingredients
- 10 oz pasta (rotini)
- 12.5 oz cooked, shredded chicken
- 1/4 cup green onion, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water until cool, then set aside.
